My father, William Joseph Binkley, was born on February 1, 1897, in Davidson County, Tennessee, and died on December 30, 1959, in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee. He is buried at Mt. Hope Cemetery. In his early twenties, he went North, to Chicago, and lived there for the rest of his life except for a few years in Wisconsin. He married my mother, Mary Louise Gentry, on January 4, 1946, in Nashville.
