In 1920 L. Brodsky, age 40, a Russian immigrant and dry goods merchant, was boarding at 210 Third Avenue in Franklin. His family was not shown. In 1930 L. Brodsky, age 48, a dry goods salesman, was living at 324a Twenty-First Avenue, North, Nashville, with an unnamed wife, age 46; their children, Anne, 21, a dentist's helper; Sarah, 19, an insurance stenographer; Elizabeth, 18, an insurance stenographer; and Coleman, 17; and L. Brodsky's mother, Etta, 73. All were born in Russia. L. Brodsky reported coming to the United States in 1920; all other family members reported coming 1915. Anna Brodsky was born on April 18, 1910, and died on February 8, 1997, in Nashville, Tennessee. She married Dr. Bernard J. Pass [October 27, 1910 - August 22, 2005]. For several years I tried to find out what had happended to Anna Brodsky. Only recently did I learn that she had married Dr. Pass, who was my dermatologist during the 1970's. Sources: |
